Weekly Pool Cleaning Service.

Our flagship offering — a meticulous weekly visit that covers everything your pool actually needs. Same technician, same day each week, same checklist. You get a photo report after every visit so you can see exactly what was done before the bill ever comes.

01 — Who it's for

When to book Weekly cleaning.

Any residential or commercial pool in our service area that wants to stay swim-ready year-round without the owner thinking about chemistry, brushes, or filter cycles.

What's included

  • Skim the surface and pull out leaves, bugs, pollen, and debris
  • Vacuum the pool floor — manual or robot, whichever your setup supports
  • Brush walls, tile, steps, and waterline to prevent algae and scaling
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets, inspect for cracks or wear
  • Test free chlorine, total chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid
  • Dose chlorine, muriatic acid, stabilizer, or salt to bring water back into balance
  • Visual check of pump, filter, heater, salt cell, and timer for early warning signs
  • Photo report sent the same day showing before/after and any issues flagged

When you need this service

Always. In Florida heat, a single skipped week in summer can drop chlorine residual to zero and turn a clear pool green within 3-5 days. Vacation rentals, properties with attached spas, and pools under heavy bather load sometimes go twice weekly.

Pricing

Most residential weekly service runs $130–$200/month, billed monthly with no long-term contract. Final price depends on pool size, equipment type, screen cage / lot debris, and whether there's an attached spa to balance separately. Commercial pools quoted individually.

FAQ

Pool service questions, answered.

What homeowners ask us most often about pool service in Weekly cleaning.

What day of the week will you come?

Same day every week, picked when we set up service. Routes are organized by ZIP code for efficiency — most St. Petersburg homes land on Tuesday or Wednesday, Tampa on Thursday, beaches on Friday. We confirm your day before your first visit and stick to it unless weather forces a single-day reschedule.

Do I need to be home for the service?

No. We need gate or pool-equipment access; most clients give us a gate code or leave the side gate unlocked on their service day. After every visit you get a photo report so you can see exactly what was done without being on-site.

What happens if it rains on my service day?

Heavy rain — we'll reschedule to the next dry day that week and notify you the morning of. Light rain or a short Florida summer storm — we still come and add a bit of extra chlorine to compensate for the dilution. Lightning or thunderstorms within 10 miles is the only hard no.

Do you provide your own chemicals?

Yes. Chlorine, muriatic acid, cyanuric acid (stabilizer), and salt for salt-water systems are all included in the monthly service price. Specialty chemistry (algaecides, clarifiers, phosphate remover, copper-based products) is occasionally needed and quoted separately when called for.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Service is month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel. We don't believe in locking customers into long contracts — if our work doesn't justify the price every month, you should be free to leave.

03 — Reviews

Words from our clients.

Don't just take our word for it.

Jacob and his team have done great work on our two commercial pools. After the hurricane he had every opportunity to price gouge us like almost everyone is doing, but instead he gave us a very fair deal and showed up to help us get back online. Very grateful to have a good and honest pool company who has our back. Highly recommend this company.

I can't say enough good things about Jacob at Pool Optics, by far the best pool service that I've had. I own an Air BnB and Jacob has always been able to keep the pool perfect for my tenants. I've been through a number of companies over the years until I found Jacob — he is a true professional who goes above and beyond.

After my pool was flooded by hurricane Helene with class three water, these guys brought it back to life — and they did it in a professional, timely, and responsive fashion! Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Stellar service! If you're looking for a solid pool company that answers immediately and gets you in early — this is your stop. Jacob is incredible. We purchased a home in Oldsmar with a heated salt water pool and had no clue what to do. Within 3 days he was out, cleaned the pool, and even cleared a TON of debris off our cage. Highly recommend!
